Day 01 :

Arrival in Paro → Thimphu

Fly into Paro International Airport with spectacular Himalayan views. Meet your local guide and transfer to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital. Evening stroll through craft shops and cafés.
Overnight: Thimphu

Day 02 :

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing & Trek Preparation

Visit Buddha Dordenma, the 169-foot statue overlooking Thimphu Valley.
Explore the National Memorial Chorten and Takin Preserve.
Visit the impressive Tashichhodzong, home to Bhutan’s royal offices and monastic community.
Evening: Trek orientation and gear check.
Overnight: Thimphu

Day 03 :

Thimphu → Punakha via Dochula Pass

Drive over Dochula Pass (3,100m) for breathtaking Himalayan views.

Visit the 108 Druk Wangyel Chortens and continue to Punakha Dzong, Bhutan’s most picturesque fortress.

Stop at Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple) before returning to Thimphu.
Overnight: Thimphu

Drive over Dochula Pass (3,100m) for breathtaking Himalayan views.

Day 04 :

Trek Start – Thimphu to Phajoding

Distance: ~10 km | Duration: 4–5 hrs | Altitude: 3,750m

Begin your journey from the telecom tower trailhead, ascending through blue pine forests to Phajoding Monastery.

Day 05 :

Phajoding to Jimilang Tsho

Distance: ~12 km | Duration: 5–6 hrs | Altitude: 3,870m

Follow a ridge trail with sweeping views of snow-capped peaks.

Camp beside Jimilang Tsho (Sand Ox Lake), known for its tranquility and trout-filled waters.
Overnight: Camping

Day 06 :

Jimilang Tsho to Simkotra Tsho

Distance: ~11 km | Duration: 4–5 hrs | Altitude: 4,040m

Cross alpine meadows with stunning views of Gangkar Puensum, Bhutan’s highest and unclimbed mountain.

Rest by the shimmering Simkotra Tsho lake.
Overnight: Camping

Day 07 :

Simkotra Tsho to Jali Dzong – End Trek & Drive to Paro

Distance: ~11 km | Duration: 4 hrs | Descent: 1,330m

Descend through forests toward Jali Dzong, concluding the Drukpath Trek.

Transfer to Paro Valley for a well-earned rest.
Overnight: Paro

Day 08 :

Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery
